‘No Spectacle’ (2021) is a performative work that allows for the creation of imaginary spaces through voice, breath, and the imagination of the audience, instead of aiming at creating physical visualities. The display involves a performer and a single visitor, each in separate spaces during the performance. They are connected solely through their voices and sound. With this work I am testing myself as an artist and my approach to art. In the year that followed, I became even more radical in my artistic practice by becoming ‘a room myself’.
