Transit_360 (Part I: Transatlantic)

Presentation of my multi-part oil painting Ineinander (into one another) in public space, apart from raising questions concerning the relation of art, context and viewer, may also be the start to a game of infinite multiplication. During the art action Bewegte Bilder (moved pictures) female bearers carried the oil painting’s 10 different parts through the centre of Vienna. It was the context of this city which left its mark on the photographic documentation: Ineinander, the work of art, began to take on a subordinate role.
